On offer is a position where you will be supporting all departments to ensure IT operations are running efficiently across the site.
The role:
*Provide support for users, plus workstations located throughout the facility for use in the Manufacturing process
*Support, monitor, administer and install key software to ensure that performance and availability is maintained and escalate if necessary
*Support, monitor, administer and install key hardware to ensure that performance and availability is maintained and escalate if necessary
*Ensure that performance and availability of the IT Infrastructure is maintained to the highest standards, and that maximum productivity is achieved
The person:
*Strong IT background
*LAN, WAN and VPN knowledge
*Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, FTP, Active Directory, Windows Server and desktop operating systems (legacy and modern)
*Working knowledge of VMWare ESXi/VCenter
