After graduating university in Summer 2020, and competing in a challenging job market, I was offered an amazing opportunity at Rise Technical. I was able to join a young and dynamic team, of highly motivated and successful individuals, who have encouraged me to strive to be the best version of myself; and aim to achieve goals I could only dream of. My manager, director, teammates, and founders of Rise have provided a supportive environment and want to achieve success and my goals as much as their own. A key achievement of mine was my first placement, not only my first placement as an associate but one of the first and record-breaking bookings in Germany. Being one of the founding members of the Europe team has given me the opportunity to explore and understand a new and challenging market and motivates me to make the Rise international team a great success. My goals are to own my first house within the first 2 years of my career and begin to build a property portfolio, to be promoted to principal within 2 years, and to lead my own team in the international market.

​​​I joined Rise’s engineering division in 2018, progressing to consultant, I now work across the UK’s Engineering and Manufacturing sector for a wide range of clients. I aim to build long term-relationships with a committed client base, working closely with them to ensure we place candidates for the long term.

​​​I specialise within the UK manufacturing and engineering sector. I cover everything technical and engineering, whether that be Design, Maintenance, Sales or Senior Management. My aim is to build long-term relationship with companies, supporting them in recruiting motivated and highly skilled candidates who will stay long term, and ultimately helping them to achieve their business goals.

After moving to Bristol following my university graduation, I was keen to start my career with an ambitious, driven and energetic company where I was in control of my career progression and earnings and had access to huge future opportunities. Rise has offered me all of this whilst being a fun, diverse and integral environment where I enjoy coming to work every day. I have a great support network and am able to get advice from anyone in the office including our directors and CEO. Rise has helped me realise my goals and given me the platform to actually achieve them. A major achievement for me has been the growth in confidence Rise has given me. Prior to starting Rise, I lacked a bit of self-confidence and was quite shy. Since being at Rise I have felt my confidence grow massively in all aspects of my life whilst being able to successfully progress my career. Rise has given me the opportunity to push myself despite this being my first job in recruitment – I’ve mentored associates and delivered training sessions and am now on track to my senior promotion after just over a year! Next year, I will be looking at buying a new car which I never thought I’d be able to save for! I also aim to start saving for my first property, and to progress up to manager level by the end of 2022 with the hope of moving out to Australia when we open that office!

I then went on to hit my quarterly budget straight after my promotion and the earnings I made from that allowed me improve my life outside of work.Future goals: To progress to Manager by the end of 2022, buy my first property, and be earning a 6 figure salary by only my 2nd year in recruitment.Previous background: Achieved a 2:1 degree in History from the University of Southampton and started working at Rise straight after university. I have previously worked as a lifeguard and a licensed door supervisor during my school and university years.

​​I joined Rise as a Trainee in 2013 and having progressed to Principal Consultant, I have worked roles covering the whole Engineering and Technical spectrum, everything from Maintenance Engineers to Vice Presidents of Global Companies UK wide and internationally! I am passionate about placing great candidates with great companies and aim to build long-term relationships whereby clients see me as an extension/recruitment arm of their business which has been the foundation of my success at Rise.

I joined Rise Technical in 2017 as an Associate Recruitment Consultant, I’ve progressed within the business and secured my role as Client Engagement Manager in 2021. My role as Client Engagement Manager is to provide the best service possible to our clients. I focus on strengthening relationships with our existing accounts and building long-term relationships with new business. We aim to build a tailored recruitment solution, using technical excellence and motivational matching to solve our client’s recruitment challenges.

​I joined Rise in 2015, having a broad base of experience across all sectors as well as working across permanent and contract positions. Now working as a Principal Consultant, I aim to help my clients on a national basis and pride myself on offering a professional approach while working in partnership with my clients to deliver the best candidates that can be an asset to their business.

​Having joined Rise in late 2020 during the coronavirus pandemic, recruitment has really opened my eyes to how rewarding matching motivated candidates to great companies can be. As a Principal Consultant within the engineering sector, I specialise in Quality and Health and Safety Engineer positions and my focus is to build long-term relationships with companies across the UK, helping them achieve their business goals.

I am a Recruitment Manager within the Engineering & Manufacturing sector in the USA; I strongly believe tailoring the recruitment process for each client means I’m in prime position to attract, select, and retain the best person for the job.
