In this role, you will be responsible for managing the financial aspects of construction projects. This includes cost estimation, feasibility studies, budget control, and risk assessment. You will collaborate with project teams to identify cost-saving opportunities, negotiate contracts, and prepare regular reports and forecasts.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor and either Bachelor's Degree or a HNC/ HND in a relevant discipline such as Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or similar. It is key that you are also a confident negotiator as your negotiation skills will likely have an impact on the company's overall financial performance.

The Role:
* Conducting negotiations with suppliers and subcontractors
* Producing budgets for upcoming projects
* Monitoring the costs of existing projects
* Liaise with other departments to identify ways to reduce costs

The Person:
* Relevant HNC, HND or Degree Qualification
* Demonstratable experience as a Quantity Surveyor
* Good working knowledge of the construction industry, construction methods and materials
* Excellent negotiation skills
* Full UK Driving License
