£26,000 - £33,000 (Pro Rata) + holiday+ Pension

6 Month Fixed Term Contract / Temp to perm

Bilsthorpe, Nottinghamshire (Commutable from: Newark, Mansfield, Nottingham, Worksop, and Retford)

Are you an Accounts Payable Specialist looking for an immediately available 6-month contract role with a successful company who are continuing to expand, whilst retaining a family feel and great culture within their passionate & dedicated teams?

Due to a period of transformational change through digital innovation, they are now seeking to strengthen the team by recruiting an Accounts Payable Specialist to support the Finance team through the merge.

The role requires someone with a strong background in all areas of Accounts Payable, ideally including experience with a high volume of invoices and queries, who can offer vital support to a wide program of changes within the department. You will work within a small but highly motivated team who are all working towards greater efficiencies and use of automation across the business.

This is a fantastic position for a candidate who is looking for an immediately available 6 month contract that has the potential to go permeant, with a company that can offer you job security, training and ongoing development.

The Role:

  • Matching, batching & coding invoices and proofs of delivery
  • Resolving supplier queries and GRNI issues
  • Statement reconciliations
  • Preparing payment runs and month end information
  • Ability to work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure processes are performed in accordance with performance and quality standards
  • Confident at communicating across all departments and areas of the business

The person:

  • Worked in a similar Accounts role previously with previous experience of change management
  • Strong coaching and people development focus with a successful track record of motivating and developing teams of people
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Strong team player and happy to help in other areas of finance if required.
