This is an exciting opportunity for an Assistant, Junior, or Graduate Quantity Surveyor to join a well established yet growing construction company who work on a variety of interesting Civil and Groundworks projects. In the role you will have an opportunity to gain valuable experience and develop both professionally and personally with full chartership support.

This company is a well-established construction company who operate around the Southwest. They work for a number of interesting clients and act as a principal contractor themselves. The company work in a variety of sectors but the majority of the workload will be in Civils and Groundworks. Their focus on high quality service has found them great success since establishing.
In this role you will take on a number of responsibilities with a focus on learning and gaining valuable experience from the talented senior members in the team. You will be responsible for assisting and supporting the commercial team throughout projects. You will be assisting in the preparation of tender documents and the quotations for submission to clients. Another responsibility will be placing orders for the supply of labor, plant and materials. Finally, you will be responsible for helping with the preparation of valuations of the work for payment that has been agreed with the client.
The ideal candidate will either have a degree or HNC with some previous experience in the Construction sector. The role will suit an indivudual who is looking to develop both personally and professionally. Applicants must hold a full UK drivers license and be able to travel to sites.
