In this position you will work collaboratively with laboratory teams to develop, test and improve rubber compounds, work with suppliers to evaluate and test new products, optimize mixing, processing and moulding of market leading products that vary in size and complexity. You will work closely with engineering and laboratory teams to solve manufacturing problems through process improvement and chemistry as well as find new way to pioneer new products.

The Position:
* Develop, test and improve market leading products that are supplied to customers globally
* Work collaboratively with engineering, laboratory and manufacturing teams to problems solve issues and improve processes
* Evaluate and test new products in line with customer specifications
* Optimize mixing, processing and moulding processes as well as investigate new equipment to enhance manufacturability
* Work closely with suppliers to evaluate new products that could enhance properties, improve processing or reduce costs

The Person:
* Bachelor's Degree in either Chemical Engineering, Polymers, Rubber, Plastic, Chemistry or Material Science
* Hands on intern experience working with polymers, rubber or similar materials
* Eager to travel, learn and develop new skills to become an expert
* Able to problem solve and communicate effectively with suppliers and team members
