Broadcast Test Engineer
Winchester
£400 - £500 pd
12-month Contract - Inside IR35
This is an excellent opportunity for a Test Engineer who specialises in Broadcast, Media and IT Cloud, to join a company leading the way in telecommunications. This role needs to be filled immediately and is a 12-month contract position (Inside IR35).

In this varied role you will ensure optimal performance of new equipment/solutions and provide technical expertise for service infrastructure development and deployment. You will also be responsible for designing efficient processes, supervising third-party suppliers, and standardising equipment for seamless integration. You'll also document procedures, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to continuous improvement. Equally, as a Design Authority, you'll ensure end-to-end customer solutions.
The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of the design, development, and testing of bespoke and COTS software/hardware for Broadcast, IP Network, IoT, or corporate applications, depending on your technical area of expertise. You will also have experience with processes, standards, and engineering practices related to monitoring and controlling. Additionally, a working knowledge of networking principles is essential. Lastly, a strong understanding of technologies involved in Utility data collection, processing, and management, specifically Radio Access Networks (Sensus), OSS (ComArc), and Comms Hubs (EDMI), will be crucial within in this role.
