Are you a Cost Engineer from a manufacturing background looking for lots of autonomy working on million dollar projects?
On offer is the chance to take the technical lead and spearhead the expansion of a state of the art production facility.
This global company offers an impressive range of high-value, custom-made machinery for various industries, including food, metal fabrication, and construction. With state-of-the-art facilities worldwide, the company is experiencing a period of rapid expansion and requires a cost engineer to lead the ongoing success.
Reporting the Production Manager you will collaborate with cross functional teams to investigate, review and implement cost saving initiatives across a wide range of parts and machinery to aid in the expansion of the plant. You will be tasked with reviewing current manufacturing costs, supplies and sales prices, working with more established sites remotely to improve financial efficiencies in house.
This role would suit a Cost Engineer from a manufacturing background looking to take the technical lead and spearhead cost saving initiatives, working on high value projects.
The Role:
- Use costing methods to aid in the expansion of the production facility
- Calculate prices for machinery, vendors and parts.
- Work with cross functional teams to improve internal and external efficiencies
The Person:
- Understanding of finance , costing and pricing
- Experience with ERP systems and Microsoft Excel
- Manufacturing background, able to understand technical drawings
