Development Engineer (Engines/Powertrain)
Peterborough
£40 - £45 per hour (Umbrella) Inside IR35
12 Month Initial Contract with extension opportunities
Fantastic opportunity for a Development Engineer with experience working with engine or powertrain components who is looking for a long term contract and an immediate start with a global market leading company.

They have been established for 100 years and are continuing their expansion to this day. Due to their continued growth they are now looking to add to their specialist team.
This role will involve working with a range of engine and powertrain components where you will need to identify and resolve issues with components and also lead design reviews where required. This role will be working on a range of challenges including turbochargers and fluid delivery systems as well as wider scope of product development and engine performance optimisation. The role will allow hybrid working with a minimum requirement of 3 days a week on site working 37 hours a week Monday to Friday working inside of IR35 regulations.
The Role:
- Working as part of a collaborative team to optimise product performance
- Developing product through a problem lifecycle to resolve as soon as possible
- 12 month contract working inside IR35 regulations for an international market leader
The Person:
- Development Engineer with experience working with engines or powertrain components
- Previous experience working with root cause analysis and problem solving cycles
- Looking for an immediate start on a long term 12 month contract
