Electrical Design Engineer (Power Generation/CHP/Natural Gases)
12 Month Contract
$70.00 - $80.00 per hour (W2)
Milwaukee / Remote based role (Eastern / Central Time Zones)
Are you a Electrical Design Engineer from an Energy background looking for an immediately available, days based 12 month contract role for a market leading, world renowned Energy company that is offering a fully remote based role?
This is an excellent opportunity to work on varied and interesting projects from concept through to completion.
This internationally successful energy company specialize in Power Plant Solutions. Due to an increase in workload and winning new projects, they are looking to hire an Electrical Design Engineer that will produce full electrical design of gas-powered generation, CHP plants and Renewable Natural Gas projects.
As an Electrical Design Engineer the majority of time spent will be translating & developing concepts into designs to meet the functional and contractual specifications of orders.
This role would suit an Electrical Design Engineer from a Energy background where you will support and assist in the sales stage of a project by taking responsibility for ensuring that conceptual design and tender preparation documents are provided to meet the timescales and standards required for presentation to my clients customers.
The Role:
- Provide support to the Project Manager during the design, installation commissioning and testing phases of the project, ensuring the timely production of all necessary documentation.
- Travelling to my clients customer sites for meetings and to conduct surveys (20% of your time will be spent travelling)
- Immediately available, days based, 100% remote based, 12 month contract role where you will be employed on a W2 basis
The Person:
- Electrical Design Engineer with extensive experience in using AutoCAD Electrical
- Experience in BOM'S, Panel Layouts, Cable Schedules, Schematics, LV & MV Power Distribution & much more
- Immediately available 12 month contract (W2) which will be fully remote for the right candidate with 20% travel to my clients & customers sites.
