This company deals with both commercial and residential projects around Florida completing over 500 projects a year and looking to double its size in the upcoming years. On offer as an estimator you will come in and further this growth, leading to managing the estimating team and those below you to help kickstart upcoming projects. In the role you will deal with team development and continuous improvement to help achieve this growth while maintaining the quality that they are known for.
This role would suit an estimator that is looking for career progression and growth within a budding team, where they can train and mold those around them in order for themselves and the company to excel.
The Role
- Creating comprehensive proposals and bids for new construction projects and performing take-offs
- Build strong relationships with vendors and negotiate for the best pricing
- Assist in the development of new team members and sharing knowledge
The Person
- Previous experience as an commercial estimator/estimating manager
- Excellent business development and communication skills, with the ability to build strong vendor and client relationships.
- Ability to handle multiple bids/projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
