Graduate Estimator / Quantity Surveyor

Excellent opening for a recent graduate looking to join a leading general contractor, hoping to kick-start your construction career with fantastic training whilst working on some of the most exciting and transformative commercial and public projects in Kansas City.

This is for a well-established and highly reputable Construction Manager, widely respected for the transformative nature of the projects they work on. With a healthy and exciting pipeline of projects, they are now looking to add a Graduate Estimator/Quantity Surveyor to facilitate the growth and continued success of the company.
In this role you will have a fantastic opportunity for training and progression whilst taking on more and more responsibility within the company. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with the Preconstruction team and it's high quality function as the company navigates the next stages of their development.
This role would ideally suit a graduate with a construction background who is looking to impact Kansas City's future infrastructure with the desire to work for a company that will provide all of the support and guidance necessary for a long and successful career in construction.

The Role
- Review and evaluate subcontractor quotes, maintain documentation and changes, prepare RFIs and assist with developing cost estimates.
- Attend meetings, assist with developing scopes of works and create and maintain risk logs.
- Liaise with subcontractors, architects, suppliers and clients. Ensure clear lines of communication with company leadership.

The Person
- Construction Management degree or related field.
- Experience working on construction projects welcomed
