In this role 70% of the position will be working in IT infrastructure projects such as SharePoint migration, windows 11 migration, office 356 apps and Intune on premise devices. The other 30% will be analysis, dealing with business processes, using power BI to create reports and offering alternative solutions to problems based off data.

The ideal candidate will come from an infrastructure background working with technologies shih as Microsoft 365, on-premis server windows server, SQL server, SCCM server and SharePoint. You would also have has exposure to data analytics and power BI.

The role *To provide day to day support, advice and guidance to all users of MDDC, according to defined priorities and service level agreements. Working with other ICT Team members where appropriate, logging and recording resolutions of all calls, using the Service Desk system.
*To achieve high levels of customer satisfaction.
*To diagnose hardware and software faults, liaising with external suppliers as necessary, implementing solutions to problems, and maintaining and creating all necessary documentation including diagrams, procedures and training guides
*To promote and maintain a high level of data security for all council systems and networks, achieving PSN compliance annually.
*To maintain inventory of hardware, software and configuration items, and carrying out installations and configurations as directed.
*To maintain knowledge of current and emerging technologies, through research and training, and evaluate where appropriate.
*To provide technical advice in liaison with external suppliers.
*To provide project management or project support for ICT related projects

The person
*Candidates must have a strong IT infrastructure background.
* Microsoft 365, on-premis server windows server, SQL server, SCCM server and SharePoint experience.
*You would also have has exposure to data analytics and power BI.
