This company are a globally recognised business which specialise in the manufacture of specialist consumer, commercial and industrial products. They are experiencing ongoing expansion & as such they are looking for a Lead Electronic Design Engineer to lead a team & work alongside industry experts.
The role will involve leading a team designing and developing new and existing products. Working in the Research and Development department you will be working closely on products from conception right through to completion.
The ideal candidate will have previously worked in Electronic Design in a team lead role and be looking to work for a world-renowned company in a varied & interesting role.

The role:
- Embedded & power electronic design, schematic capture, PCB layout & simulation
- Diagnose and mitigate EMC/EMI problems
- Power supply design, PWM experience, High voltage design
- DFM, DFT (Design for manufacturability, Design for testability)
- Test & evaluation using a range of test equipment
The person: - Significant knowledge in Electrical/Electronic Engineering with experience in a team lead role
- Ideally a background in consumer products (power electronics, portable devices, power tools etc.)
- Commercial experience (negotiation techniques, supply chain management, volume manufacturing, customer relationship development)
- Ability to take technical lead and mentor engineers
