Lead Solutions Engineer
Austin (Remote)
$100,000 - $125,000 + Health, Dental, Vision, Life, Disability insurance + 401(k) + Bonus
Are you an experienced Solutions Engineer with strong technical knowledge of UPS's, batteries and data centres, looking to work in a leading organisation with excellent benefits in a client-facing environment?
On offer is an excellent opportunity to join a leading organisation in a UPS industry, in a role that offers training and mentorship, whilst being exposed to clients across the US and Canada.
My client is a well-established UPS maintenance and UPS battery maintenance provider that is continuing to go from strength to strength and is now looking to add a Lead Solutions Engineer to their team as they continue to grow.
In this role you will be responsible for working collaborating closely with clients and the internal sales team to understand their needs and requirements, and to develop tailored solutions that address them effectively.
You will benefit from receiving mentorship and training from management, whilst working in a diverse variety of manufacturers.
This role would be a great fit for a Solutions Engineer with 5+ years of experience in a technical sales role, looking for a fully remotely position with excellent training opportunities in an industry leading organization.
The Role:
- Work closely with both clients and internal sales team to understand their needs and requirements and to develop solutions that meet those needs
- Host meetings with suppliers, service partners, internal and external stakeholders
- Manage projects from initiation to completion, including coordinating with team members and clients, establishing project goals and timelines, and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget
- Develop and maintain technical documentation
The Person:
- 5+ years of experience in a technical sales role supporting Critical Power Applications
- Proficient in CRM systems like Salesforce.com, as well as MS Excel, Outlook, Word, and Teams
- Strong knowledge of BMS/electrical engineering
- Excellent communicator
