Excellent opportunity of an experienced international Purchasing , Project or Contract professional, where you will be responsible for the identification, planning, development and implementation of fulfilment concepts for offset obligations of my clients European locations in the defence sector.
The company is a worldwide designer and manufacturer of precision motion control products and systems. From designing and manufacturing products and solutions to providing expert consultative support, they collaborate with customers in many of the world's most challenging industrial applications.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced Purchasing or Project professional from an electrical/ industrial company with experience dealing with contract inquiries relating to offset transactions or industrial participation. Also experience in processing and determining appropriate measures to fulfil the offset obligations.

The role:
- Your main task is the identification, planning, development and implementation of fulfilment concepts for offset obligations of the European locations in the defense sector
- You report to the Business Manager Defense and support the innovative and cost-optimized fulfilment of the compensation obligations.
- Generating offset credits from purchases of the entire company Group at locations in Europe and the USA.
- Generating offset credits by relocating work packages to partners and suppliers in relevant countries.
- You will work in close cooperation with the Regional Sales and Program Managers.
- The development and maintenance of networks in the offset and defense sector as well as the analysis of foreign procurement markets in cooperation with strategic purchasing
- Ensuring the timely processing and commercial controlling of offset projects.
The person:
- 5 + years of experience in international sales, purchasing, project or contract management.
- Degree in economics, engineering or related degree.
- Advantage if you have experience in offset management and industry knowledge in defense technology.
- Good knowledge of SAP and Microsoft.
- Willingness to travel.
- Fluent knowledge of German and English, both written and spoken.
