You will be responsible for designing machinery and fixtures for new and existing production lines, as well as investigating new machines for the facility, and providing training to shop floor staff for downtime reduction and process improvement.
This role would suit a Mechanical Engineer from a high-volume production background looking for a company that will facilitate your technical progression, as they take their exciting next step as a business.
The Role:
- Designing and setting up fixtures and machines for new production lines.
- R&D component: investigating new methods and machinery for production.
- Supporting Production & Maintenance staff on downtime reduction.
The Candidate:
- Associate's degree in any Engineering curriculum.
- 3D Design Software experience.
- Experience designing machinery or tooling for high-volume manufacturing or production.
