Are you a Millwright, looking for a field service role where you can work on some of the most important civil / environmental projects in Connecticut and Massachusetts.

This company are a well-established General Contractor, leveraging their fantastic reputation in the region to grow their Environmental division. On offer is a varied role where you will be ensuring the smooth operation of equipment through assembly, installation, dismantling and general maintenance of pumps, motors, gates, actuators and instrumentation. You will also be reviewing documents related to equipment and fitting, aligning and attaching mechanical components. The safe rigging of equipment is fundamental in this position.
This role would ideally suit a Millwright or Mechanical maintenance person with a construction or manufacturing background, looking for exposure to some of the most important construction projects in the Northeast.
The Role
- Review drawings and documents relating to equipment.
- Install, assemble, remove, dismantle and maintain equipment for operations.
- Layout, levelling, aligning and rigging. Troubleshoot and correct issues with equipment.
- Test and adjust equipment as needed.
The Person
- Previous experience in a similar position.
- Construction or Manufacturing background.
- OSHA 10 and ability to lift minimum 50 lbs regularly.
