£50,000 - £55,000 + Car / allowance + Progression to Contracts Manager
Hertfordshire Based - Office, Site and Home based role
***Site Travel around the South East of England***
This is an excellent opportunity for a Project Manager with a construction waterworks background to join an expanding international subcontractor specialising in the water industry. You will work alongside renowned principal contractors in a role that offers career progression and autonomy.
Are you a Project Manager with experience working on Civils projects within the water industry? Do you want to join an international contractor who offer progression through to Contracts Management?
This specialist subcontractor are experts in groundworks industry working with tier one principal contractors on unique water projects. This family run company have thrived in a niche industry work on Civils projects within the waterworks sector and therefore been able to dominate the market and expand internationally. Due to an internal promotion they are now looking for a Project Manager to join the business.
This a fantastic opportunity to join a thriving company who have exciting growth plans where you will gain internal training and a direct progression path to Contracts Management.
In this varied role you will be tasked with ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget. You will work on projects mainly within the South East of England you will produce project plans and schedules whilst overseeing Project and Site Engineers to ensure projects are on track. You will be in regular contact with the client and Contracts Manager keeping them up to date with project progress and be responsible for health and safety of site ensure projects are being delivered safely.
The ideal candidate will have some project management experience with a Civil Engineering background looking to join a renowned contractor with a long term goal of progressing your career.
The role
- Project Management (Water projects )
- Producing project programmes
- Visiting sites to ensure projects are being delivered on time and to standard
- Liaising with the client to keep them updated with project progress
- Ensuring Health and Safety is being adhered to on site
The person
- Project Management experience within the Civil Engineering sector
- Groundwater Control, Water Management or hydrology experience
- Civil or Geology degree or masters
- CSCS and SSSTS / SMSTS
- Proven experience in managing multiple projects
