Office based role commutable from Stroud, Gloucester, Cheltenham, Stonehouse and surrounding areas.

This company are a well-established industry leader, renowned worldwide for their exceptional standards of craftsmanship. They are market leaders in the production of audio systems, loudspeakers and electronics for both professional recording studios and consumer HiFi sound systems at home, and have won numerous awards over the years for going above and beyond the industry norm in terms of quality. Due to ongoing expansion and the opening of a new site, they are seeking to add a Technical Author to their talented team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Technical Author to further their career in a genuinely interesting position, with lots of scope for further training and development. You will be responsible for producing a comprehensive library of internal documentation, including assembly guides, standard operating and testing procedures, largely for electronic components used in speakers.

This role would suit a Technical Author looking to establish a lasting career, and grow alongside a company at the heart of an exciting sector, in a role with plentiful training and development opportunities and the scope to develop into more senior roles.

The Role:

  • Collaborate with staff to produce educational content for internal use
  • Creating content that reads well and is well-designed, clear and informative
  • Working in a manufacturing environment, with material catered towards assembly, production and maintenance


The Candidate:

  • Will have experience in Technical Writing
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment would be highly advantageous
  • Familiarity with authoring and illustrating tools and software, or design/CAD
