£55,000 - £75,000 + Bonus + Car Allowance + Hybrid Working

Do you have experience in delivering renewable energy projects and want to join a rapidly growing market leader in the sector that will give you the autonomy and responsibility to leave your mark on high-profile decarbonization projects?

The company has been a leading developer of onshore Renewable Energy sites for many years, following an acquisition and a re-branding, they are now looking to expand and diversify its operational capacity to assist the UK in its British Energy Security Strategy through acquiring and developing Onshore Wind, Solar, and Battery assets.

This role will focus on end-to-end management of new projects whilst mentoring and supporting technical colleagues and collaborating with internal and external teams to ensure that the project is delivered on time and within budget. The role will require the successful candidate to assist the business development team in identifying projects, provide technical expertise in site design to ensure optimization, and resolve technical issues ensuring that all technical aspects are completed to standards and stakeholders are updated throughout.

The ideal candidate will be very technically minded but will have the ability to simplify the technical aspects of their role to present to non-technical stakeholders. The candidate will also have extensive renewable energy experience ideally in the Wind, Solar, or Battery industry, and will be educated to a degree level in a relevant technical discipline.

The Role:

  • Assist the Business Development team in the identification of promising projects and provide technical expertise for the initial project stages.
  • Spearheaded project development by optimizing site design, securing the necessary technical approvals and consents, and engaging with external stakeholders.
  • Utilize experience and knowledge to resolve technical issues alongside collaborators to ensure that project delivery is on time and within budget.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams, mentor and support colleagues, and implement new work process improvements.


The Candidate:

  • Degree qualified In a relevant technical discipline
  • Extensive knowledge and experience in renewable energy technologies (ideally Wind/Solar/Battery)
  • Hold or be working towards Chartered Engineer status.
  • Strong management/ leadership experience.
