MOTIVATIONAL MATCHING AND SOURCING TECHNICAL EXCELLENCE FOR OUR HIGH TECH CLIENT’S PERMANENT ENGINEERING NEEDS.

The Brief

Having secured a high profile contract win, one of our established clients based in Devon needed to recruit Maintenance Engineers on a permanent basis.

Since March 2020, Rise Technical have placed 13 permanent Engineers at the site – which is still ongoing!

The Process

We are always excited when one of our long standing clients secures an exciting new project and this one was certainly the talk of the office!

Following a £200,000,000 contract win with one of the world largest technology conglomerates, our client was busy with a new factory outfit, new machines and of course the hiring of new staff.

Our client is a specialist manufacture of micro LEDs, meaning they needed a stream of highly skilled Maintenance Engineers to join their team.

Rise were approached as an exclusive partner on the project and we immediately called upon our extensive searching and advertising capabilities to recruit the best talent on the market.

Alongside needing a minimum of a NVQ Level 3 qualification in Electrical Engineering, we had our motivational matching processes at the forefront of the candidate attraction agenda. Our client offers a good progression structure where engineers can progress to Principal Engineer and Team Leader. This was key during the interview process to ensure candidates would stay with the business longer term.

We worked closely alongside the client through the 2020 pandemic, making it as easy as possible to arrange Zoom interviews and then a COVID safe on-site interview.

As of January 2021, we have placed 13 Engineers and counting which has made significant impacts to the company and assisted with their increased workload.

We look forward to seeing these Engineers progress long term with the business!
