Excellent opportunity for an Assistant Project Manager looking to join a leading general contractor, providing the opportunity to work on a range of high-quality and exciting commercial and institutional construction projects whilst positioning yourself as a future leader of the company.

On offer is the chance to work on unique and complex projects while having the opportunity to leverage your Construction Management knowledge and experience on a wide range of project sizes.

This is for a unique General Contractor, rapidly growing in the state of Connecticut. As a trusted partner of many public and private companies with an exciting pipeline of projects, they are now looking for another Assistant Project Manager to contribute to the strategic growth of the company.

In this role you will have a fantastic opportunity for progression into a Project Manager position and beyond within the company. The Project Management team and it's high quality operation are fundamental to steering the company through the pipeline of large projects and their next stages of development. Within a short space of time, you could be running your own projects as a Project Manager with fantastic support from your team.

This role would ideally suit a Construction Management graduate or Assistant Project Manager who has experience working on commercial projects; both ground up, new builds and interior/exterior renovations.

The Role

  • Produce and maintain budgets, schedules, change orders, submittals, buy outs, resource management and close outs. Read and understand job plans and specifications.
  • Overseeing all staff, conduct job site walks and hold meetings.
  • Ensure clear lines of communication with all project stakeholders.
  • $90,000 - $120,000 + Bonus + 401(k) + Full Insurances + PTO

  • Commercial/Retail/Institutional/Municipal construction knowledge/experience
  • Project Management knowledge/experience
