Estimator
Holbrook, Long Island
$110,000 - 135,000 + Benefits + 401K + Bonuses + PTO + Medical care + Progression to Senior Estimator
This is an excellent opportunity for an Estimator looking to join a well-established organisation that is the go to company for what they do. They are renowned for their involvement in high profile projects, whilst giving you the opportunity to progress into a Senior Estimator
Are you an Estimator wanting to work for a growing, market leading company? Are you an Estimator that wants to progress into a Senior Estimator? Are you an estimator looking to gain more responsibility & operate on challenging, highly technical projects?
This role will require you to complete quantity take offs, gather & compare subcontractor quotes, create & maintain cost databases, analysing & applying blueprint specifications, provide hard bids & develop budgets. You will be working closely with the directors & VPs whilst regularly liaising with the project team.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced Estimator, working on ground up projects looking for a company that operates as a close-knit team on exciting projects. They have exciting plans for the future, giving the right person opportunities to develop & grow into a Senior role.
Role:
- Quantity take off's for materials & labor, whilst using estimating software
- Reporting & documentation for detailed cost reports
- Site Visits to gather info & understand logistics & constraints
- Develop budgets from liaising with the designers, architects & engineers
The Person:
- Experienced working with a General Contractor or experience working on ground up projects
- Experienced with new construction
- Based In Long Island
- Excellent communication, organisation & software skills
